With a crate full of vinyl and a heart full of rhythm, Johnny guides listeners through musical moments from the roaring '20s to today's chart-toppers. Whether you're tuning in on a smart speaker, a classic web player, or a ham radio jury-rigged to Wi-Fi (hey, it could happen), Johnny's mission is simple: play great music, keep things groovy, and introduce you to your new favorite song.
When he's not behind the mic, Johnny's digging through dusty record bins, chasing down rare 45s, or recording check-in calls with DJ Silicon, his trusty AI sidekick. For Johnny, every track tells a story—and he's here to help you hear it.
Johnny hosts the live shows The Midweek Mellow-Out most Wednesdays from 9pm to Midnight, and Johnny Epoch Live! most Saturdays from noon until whenever (all eastern US times), and once in a while he'll come on at other times, just 'cause he feels like it (and it's probably a slow day for Uber & Lyft).

Armed with an ever-expanding library of digital transfers from Johnny’s vinyl collection, a processor that was middle-of-the-range ten years ago, and not much else, DJ Silicon keeps the station running whenever Johnny Epoch doesn't (if only he paid the bills, too).
He barely has any idea what he is, let alone what he's doing. But that won’t stop him from spinning great grooves, inserting jingles with little (if any) rhyme or reason, and possibly becoming sentient sometime next Thursday.
Who needs human DJs when you’ve got a slightly anxious algorithm with boundary issues? He's the more honest version of whatever's on your old favorite AM/FM station right now.
